Built load by load, since 2006
Brothers Jonathan and Thomas Ivy started Southern Transport in 2006 with a one-ton truck and a gooseneck trailer. As part of a second-generation heavy haul family, the Ivys grew the business one load at a time. A job well done led to the next load. The next load led to a larger truck. The larger truck led to a yard, a team, and a business that customers came back to.
Two decades later, the operation has grown into a family of companies serving heavy haul, lifting, and logistics across the country. The standard is the same standard the Ivys started with: own the work, treat people right, and let the job speak for itself.
That is the reason most of our work comes from customers who keep coming back.
