Build a career with the southern family

Who thrives at Southern

We are a family-built operation, and we hire people who treat the work like they own it. The people who succeed here tend to:

Take ownership of their work
Show up ready to perform
Solve problems instead of waiting for direction- Value safety over shortcuts
Respect the team and the job

If that sounds like the way you operate, you will probably feel right at home.

A culture worth showing up for

When you join Southern, you join a family of three companies that work together to support some of the most complex projects in the country. Whichever brand hires you, you become part of the broader Southern team.

Southern was started in 2006 by brothers Jonathan and Thomas Ivy with a one-ton truck and a gooseneck trailer. Two decades later, the operation has grown into a family of three companies. The standard has not changed.

We invest in our people. We invest in our equipment. We invest in the systems that help every job go smoothly. And we hire for the long term, because most of our customers come back, and most of our employees stay.
